Luminos 4 fly killer unit delivers highly effective flying insect control in low tolerance areas. The unique Rentokil fly encapsulation technology works by trapping flying insects on an adhesive film that runs behind four 15W UV-A lamps. As the adhesive film automatically winds on the fly insects are encapsulated within the film, minimising the risk of contamination from the dead insects. This fly control unit is one of the most effective industrial fly killers and is available in three variants: wall mounted, suspended (double sided) and an IP 65 rated version.

Technical Specifications

In a series of tests designed to compare the effectiveness of various fly control units suitable for high risk areas, Luminos 4 fly killer outperformed many of the leading products currently on the market. The graph below reflects the calculated Half Life Time for a variety of fly killer units. This test measures how quickly a fly control unit catches 50% of flies in an area, and uses this as a proxy for overall effectiveness.

Luminos 4 fly killer conforms to all relevant electrical and UV safety standards. To ensure optimum performance the unit should be professionally serviced by your Rentokil Technician. The lamps should be replaced annually at the beginning of the fly season.
